I was born and raised in Maryland. At the age of 14 I received my first camera, an old Kodak Instamatic. At age 18 I joined the Military and spent the next four and a half years participating in the Viet Nam conflict but did not return to my love of photography until 1986. At this time I purchased my first SLR camera. I spent the next several years working on my technique but set photography aside until 1999 when I met my wife Doria. She is an accomplished artist and gave me a lot of inspiration to return to photography. I updated my equipment and started to pursue my passion of photography again. I have been honored to win many awards for my photography in the Mariposa County Fair. 5
