Elizabeth's early years were spent in Charleston, South Carolina. She later lived in the San Francisco Bay Area and has resided in Mariposa since 1984.

Art has been a lifelong interest of hers and after coming to Mariposa to live she discovered that the area was home to many notable artists. It became her good fortune to further her art studies under the guidance of such well-known resident artists as Mark Gudmundsen, John Bruce and Earl Rogers. She has also studied under Tony Couch and Gary Green.

She paints in many mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolor and colored pencils. In addition to her usual gallery works, she has recently found miniature painting to be a new and exciting challenge.

Elizabeth's works are displayed in private collections in many states and serveral foreign countries.
